2" Wide Leather Martingale Collar with a Buckle. A Martingale with a buckle allows for dogs with bigger heads then necks to use as it is adjustable. This martingale is normally used with Large or XL Dogs. Made with premium materials. Starting with 9-10 oz. Black Full Grain Bridle Leather as the base. Your choice of Italian Croc Leather, Premium Suede Leather or Genuine Leather is bonded and sewn with Bonded Nylon Thread onto the Bridle Leather. Making it a Nice Strong leather martingale dog collar. Edges are smoothed and edged in black edging. Each Martingale Collar is made to order and crafted in the USA.
USE: Great alternative for traditional choke chains and prong collars. Used for walking. The martingale collar tightens slightly if the dog pulls on the leash, but not so much where it will choke the dog or harm his neck in any way. *Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE:
Measure your dog's actual neck. Measure around where the collar will sit on the dog (preferably with a soft tape measure). Then choose the size range that fits your dog's neck measurement. If your dog's neck measurement falls on 2 size ranges, it is always better to go with the bigger size range. (ex. 17" neck should choose 17" - 19" rather then 15" - 17".) Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.
