LM1 - Leather Martingale Collar with Buckle - 1"

1" Wide Leather Martingale Collar with a Buckle. A Martingale with a buckle allows for dogs with bigger heads then necks to use as it is adjustable. These martingales are made for any size breed small, medium, large or XL Dogs. Unlike cheap nylon or thin leather martingales, our martingale is made heavy duty like our regular collars to withstand the strength of stronger dogs. Each Martingale Collar is made to order and crafted in the USA.

USE: Great alternative for traditional choke chains and prong collars. Used for walking. The martingale collar tightens slightly if the dog pulls on the leash, but not so much where it will choke the dog or harm his neck in any way. *Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.

– 8-9 OZ. LATIGO LEATHER IS THE BASE OF THE COLLAR.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE:

Measure your dog's actual neck. Measure around where the collar will sit on the dog (preferably with a soft tape measure). Then choose the size range that fits your dog's neck measurement. If your dog's neck measurement falls on 2 size ranges, it is always better to go with the bigger size range. (ex. 17" neck should choose 17" - 19" rather then 15" - 17".) Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.
