CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE:

When measuring your dog for a martingale collar, keep in mind that the collar will need to be able to slip over your dog’s head, since it doesn’t have a buckle. First, measure the widest part of your dog’s head. Next, measure your dog’s neck circumference, with the dog on all fours. (We strongly recommend using a soft tape to get an accurate measurement) Use the larger of the two measurements and choose your size. This will be the size when the collar is sitting on your dog's neck. *Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash. When pulled closed it can tighten up to 2"- 2.5". *If your dog's head is a lot larger than its neck, we recommend to get one with a buckle.
