Leather Martingale Collar with Daisies and Gems. Made with a Buckle for adjusting size and for dogs who have a bigger head then neck. Great alternative for traditional choke chains and prong collars. Unlike cheap nylon or thin leather martingales, our martingale is made heavy duty like our regular collars to withstand the strength of stronger dogs.
USE: Used for walking. The martingale collar tightens slightly if the dog pulls on the leash, but not so much where it will choke the dog or harm his neck in any way. *Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE:
Measure your dog's actual neck. Measure around where the collar will sit on the dog (preferably with a soft tape measure). Then choose the size range that fits your dog's neck measurement. If your dog's neck measurement falls on 2 size ranges, it is always better to go with the bigger size range. (ex. 17" neck should choose 17" - 19" rather then 15" - 17".) Properly fitted, the collar will be comfortably loose whenever the dog is not pulling against the leash.
